Description and position of Villa Luna

Villa Luna welcomes you in a polished and exclusive atmosphere, that still has the charm and warmth of a family-run hotel. The estate dates back to the Etruscan time, and it has expanded over the centuries around a charming little Abbey, just next to the Villa, where it is still possible to celebrate religious weddings.

At Villa Luna you can perform both an open air blessing surrounded by oak trees or a religious ceremony in the private and intimate chapel or a civil wedding in the park, then welcome your guests in the garden or by the pool, open air, in the shadow of centuries-old trees and elegant marquees.

By the evening, or if you prefer a more intimate room, you can enjoy the party in the large Lemonhouse that overlooks the cliffs of Volterra, lit up by the sunset.

The park of the Villa, comfortably accommodates up to 300 people and it’s fully equipped: catering rooms, furniture for bars and buffet and charming dehor for dining by poolside.

 Accommodation

The Villa has 5 large bedrooms furnished in original style and equipped with every comfort that have been completely renovated in 2010 when we first opened the doors of our B&B.

The Country house has 3, just 200 mt far from the heart of the farm, independent sized apartments, to fit different needs of couples, families with babies or groups of friends.

Every apartment has a private space outside equipped with umbrellas, chairs with cushions and table . Some common services are available for all the guest: the use of the laundry with washing machine, the brick oven and two barbecues , and sun deck with umbrellas and chairs by the 10×5 pool .

Air conditioning is banned: open the windows at the sunset and enjoy the cool taste of the sea breezes.

The house is close to the wood, inside a natural reserve area.
