The guided tour takes place in a noble villa, that once belonged to the Bourbon’s family, where Maria Teresa lived for many years and spend their summer vacations. She will show you around the villa, describing the beauty of its art and architecture, as well as introducing your to his daily life, including the cuisine and the music of the time. A special experience that will alert all your senses.
Meet Paolina Bonaparte
Paolina lived in Lucca for a few years during Napoleon’s domain in the area and was forced to spend 3 months in a villa in the countryside, when he escaped from Elba island, where he had been exiled. She has left many stories of her short but intense life, including some love affairs with a local music composer or the time. A great chance to get to know this passionate character from close and touch the beauty of her former dwelling.
