Discover Vermentino Nero and the ancient traditions of the Candia Hills, near Carrara, with a tasting of 4 wines in the panoramic garden. A territory of great potential at the north-western point of Tuscany. With a history of viticulture that goes back at least 2000 years, many of the grape varieties you will find here are native. One of them is the Black Vermentino, which has been made for more than 30 years. The visit will begin in the vineyards, with the Apuan Alps as a backdrop and the Mediterranean Sea streching out at the foot of the hills far below. Here it is easy to understand the term heroic wine making, as the slopes of the vineyards exceed an 80% gradient. All operations are carried out manually and in harmony with the surrounding ecosystem. No pesticide or fertilizers are being used, not any yeast is added to wine. All wines are very low on sulfates and therefore easy to digest. The tour ends in the panoramic garden, where you will taste 4 different wines accompanied by a selection of local delicacies, such as cold cuts, bread, quiches and cheese.
