Villa by Puccini’s lake
The villa is located where Giacomo Puccini lived and composed his music. This XIXth century villa was built as a hunting lodge, but soon became very popular to many artists, such as Puccini and some painters of the time. The Villa, a three floors building topped by an old tower is surrounded by a huge park. The main entrance pathway is a triumph of luxuriant palm trees. The boat house, a stone building made of a terrace and smaller tower, allows a stunning view of the lake and olive-tree hills. There is nothing more romantic for the bride and groom to amaze their guests arriving by the lake on a rawboat.
Wedding in villa
This villa is a perfect romantic venue for big or small size events. Many outdoor areas of the villa can be suitable for a symbolic ceremony, welcome aperitif , reception dinner and dancing. The latter is usually used for the music party indoor as the villa is surrounded by a Natural Park and by law music cannot be played outside. In case of rain the villa has a large marquee which can accommodated up to 150 seated pax. Also the civil ceremony can take place inside the villa ONLY in case of rain. The bride&groom will be welcome to take pictures inside the villa after the ceremony.
Accommodation
The villa has an apartment with double room to be incuded in the rental fee for the bride and groom on the wedding day. It can be also used for the bride or groom preparation.
Some accommodation is available in the proximity, also in walking distance, but we recommend to stay in Viareggio for a better choice.
Civil ceremony by the lake
The property is a very quiet location, sheltered away from the public, which is particularly suitable for private events and celebrations. Official civil wedding ceremonies are allowed in this property by the local municipality of Viareggio.

This location can be rented in exclusive use on a daily basis. In case of private civil/ symbolic ceremonies with up to 20 guests the villa can be rented, according to availability, on a 3hours basis. -
