finally took my reservation at Nandone’s restaurant in Mugello! Despite the simple and authentic style of the place, it takes almost 4 months advance reservation for the ‘fireplace room’. This is a special room, fitting max 15 people, where the host, Paolo, will prepare a special fiorentina steak for your party under the ancient fireplace. As you arrive, the table is beautifully dressed and rich of side courses and appetizers that will enable you to relax, sit back and watch Paolo’s mastery in savouring and cooking a 2 inches large fiorentina steak.
Take the chance to explore the Mugello area, a few km away from Florence, in the Appennines. Here the typical Tuscan landascape takes vibrant colours and allows eye-catching views.
