Pietrasanta shopping precinct has now almost outclassed Forte dei Marmi, the queen of luxury shopping in Tuscany. Pietrasanta historical centre runs on two main parallel streets that converge in the central Piazza Duomo, or ‘Piazzetta’, as we call it locally, the perfect place to sit for an aperitif. Marco is one of the best artisan-artists in Pietrasanta, not only working with luxury material, but also with bronze, marble and other stones coming from the local handcraft tradition. He is a creative daydreamer, who left his job as a workman to become a goldsmith and turn all his beautiful reflections into jewels. Each piece has a story, each piece has its own game. There is never a single use for a ring or bracelet, but you can always make it different. I am totally in love with Marco’s production and I happy to recommend a visit once you are in Pietrasanta.
